We're invested in making training for you and your pup as fun and enjoyable as possible, because that’s how we all learn best.
Our trainers are always learning new tools and techniques, and all are working towards additional fear and force free education to make learning as easy and fun as possible for your pup.
We offer the following fear and force free training options:
- Private, 1:1 training with you, your pup, and one of our trainers
- Small group classes for basic obedience, leash manners, and more
- And our 2 week, sleep away camp option
- And multiple ways for your pup to learn at daycare or during boarding stays!

Private Sessions At Your Home $165-$158
40 minute session within 20 minutes of TBY, otherwise travel rates may apply 1 session: $165, 3 sessions (w/in 3 months): $480, or 5 sessions (w/in 5 months): $790

Camp training session $45
Our team works 1 on 1 with your dog on specific desired behaviors. Examples: loose leash walking, basic obedience, learning new tricks. (up to 30 minutes)

Scratch Board Training $25
Ever had trouble trimming your dog's nails? This camp day training teachs your dog to use a scratch board to file down their nails! *Different dogs learn at different rates. Some need more than one session to pick it up- we suggest at least 3

Mini-Training Session $20
Choice of: Recall,Loose Leash Walking, place/stay, 4 on the floor (no jumping) and Cabin Zen to help anxious dogs settle for rest in their cabin! A training during their camp day- let us brush up on their manners for you!
The Bark Yard is 100% fear and force free.
This means that our entire team has been trained in positive dog care and handling.
Day Training Program
Combines daycare and training with daily basic obedience training done by our camp counselors and trainers.
Dogs arrive at camp by 9 am and leave anytime after 4 pm.
- Daycare/enrichment/group play during their day (depending on your dog's evaluation: we curate their day based on individual needs) combined with 4 one-on-one training sessions with our trainer
- One 30-minute private session for parent per week
- Custom made videos of pup’s training for parent to follow, posted in the FB group
- 10% discount on private training/group training sessions for 3 months afterwards

Pawsitive Start Program: 1 week option $700
Ideal for newly adopted dogs (especially puppies or adolescent dogs under 1 year) and focuses on short, daily sessions that are fun, low-pressure, and positively reinforced. Throughout the program your dog will learn basic cues, build trust with their handler, gain confidence, and begin to build a foundation for 'polite' behaviors such as loose leash walking, recall, and not jumping. *Includes 4 training days for your pup &1 private session for parents

Sleep Away Training Camp
(Board and Train)
Combines lodging, daycare, and training for basic obedience needs.

Our experts shape the behavior you want to see from your dog, while also supporting you in understanding how to re-create the results once your dog goes home.
This individualized program meets your dog and you where you both are and personalizes a fear and force free training camp for your dog that shapes and reinforces the behaviors you want in your home…
And then works with you to create an effective transition from camp to home…working with you to support your dog in practicing sustainable good manners and easy obedience.
During this 2-week program your dog will enjoy daily training sessions, enrichment and mental stimulation, social time with other dogs if applicable, and daily walks and play periods.
Includes:
- Interview & evaluation with you and your pup
- 2 weeks of sleep away and training camp (option to go home on weekends) with the Rover's Retreat lodging package (option to upgrade to Glamping for the pampered pup)
- Customized instructional videos posted for easy access to a private group
- 3 private, follow up sessions at our facility or via zoom
- 10% discount on packages of follow up sessions to maintain and continue relationship building with your pup
